When d.lux entered its new baby range in The Gift Awards 2007, it didn’t predict the rise in confidence, credentials and clientele the company would experience in the coming year. The d.lux baby range was created as a natural extension of the already successful d.lux textile based product range and was well received, culminating in winning the Award for Best Product Range – Australian Designed in The Gift Awards 2007.
“Winning the award has certainly validated our confidence in d.lux baby and has helped to establish new and potential customers,” said Sheena Waddell, Director, d.lux.
d.lux baby is a selection of high quality baby products including cot blankets, coordinated cushion covers, baby wraps, Christening wraps and hand-knitted hats, toys and bootees. Made from all natural fibres including Australian merino wool, silk, cashmere, linen and cotton, the focus is quite obviously on quality.
“It is hard to resist the combination of high quality fabrics and the traditional feel of baby product combined with a modern use of texture, colour and embellishments,” said Ms Waddell.
